25TV is a new satellite channel based on the principles of the January 25 revolution: democracy, freedom and social justice.

We are committed to honest and non-biased programming that is independent of any ideological, religious or political affiliations.
 
25TV encourages transparency and interactivity and dedicates large segments of its programming to people-oriented issues and concerns.

The channel is inspired by, and targets, change seekers and catalysts for change, regardless of age, ideology or personal beliefs. 

Our April 1 experimental launch featured breakthrough live coverage of a Friday protest at Tahrir Square.
  
On April 6 we provided a special live transmission from the city of Mahalla to commemorate the April 6, 2008 strike, widely considered the spark that would lead to the January 25 revolution.
 
25TV CEO Mohamed Gohar is confident that 25TV will always have its finger on the pulse of the street, and promises that "people will see themselves on 25TV's screen".
