The first independent media company to produce soap operas in Egypt and the Arab world, VCS was also the first to utilise innovative technology in the process. The company has covered a range of genres, including musicals and comedies, with such stars as Dina and Omar Sherif. Our dramas have been aired on satellite and terrestrial channels, including LBC, MBC and ERTU.
VCS’s most recent production is the ground-breaking series, “The Station”, a drama that reflects the concerns of Egyptian society through the trials and tribulations of a fictional TV channel. The setting is not only a backdrop for the typical subject matter of human relations, but also sheds light on the efforts of journalists as they strive to expose negative elements of their society, in a balanced way, and thereby contribute to solutions.
